Air Fryer Apple Chips

Ingredients:

  • 2 large apples, cored and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°F (95°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the apple slices, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
  3. Line the air fryer basket with a piece of parchment paper.
  4. Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on the parchment paper.
  5. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, or until the apples are crispy and golden brown.
  6. Remove the apple chips from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.
  7. Store the apple chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Tips:

  • You can use any type of apple you like, but Granny Smith apples are a good choice because they are tart and hold their shape well.
  • If you don't have an air fryer, you can bake the apple chips in a preheated oven at 200°F (95°C) for 1-2 hours.
  • You can add other spices to the apple chips, such as nutmeg, cloves, or allspice.
  • You can also drizzle the apple chips with honey or maple syrup before serving.
