Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas
Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Tortillas
- Toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, etc.
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil, chilli powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- While the chicken is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bell pepper and onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and add it to the skillet with the bell pepper and onion. Cook for 1-2 minutes more, or until heated through.
- Stir in the cilantro.
- Serve the chicken fajita mixture in tortillas with your favourite toppings.
Tips:
- You can use any type of bell pepper you like.
- You can add other vegetables to the fajitas, such as mushrooms, zucchini, or squash.
- Serve the fajitas with your favourite toppings, such as sour cream, guacamole, salsa, cheese, or avocado.
