Air Fryer Chicken Tenders
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg.
- Dip each chicken strip into the egg, then into the flour mixture, coating it evenly.
- Place the chicken strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the chicken strips from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Tips:
- You can add other seasonings to the flour mixture, such as Italian seasoning, Cajun seasoning, or lemon pepper.
- You can also bread the chicken strips in panko bread crumbs for a crispier coating.
- If you like your chicken strips more cooked, you can air fry them for an additional minute or two.
- Serve your chicken strips with your favorite dipping sauce, such as honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or ranch dressing.
