Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg.
  4. Dip each chicken strip into the egg, then into the flour mixture, coating it evenly.
  5. Place the chicken strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the chicken strips from the air fryer and serve immediately.

Tips:

  • You can add other seasonings to the flour mixture, such as Italian seasoning, Cajun seasoning, or lemon pepper.
  • You can also bread the chicken strips in panko bread crumbs for a crispier coating.
  • If you like your chicken strips more cooked, you can air fry them for an additional minute or two.
  • Serve your chicken strips with your favorite dipping sauce, such as honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or ranch dressing.
