Tips for Success (Heart Health)
Edamame is an exceptional, heart-smart snack packed with plant-based protein and dietary fibre, which actively work together to lower LDL ("bad") cholesterol levels. They are naturally rich in alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid that supports smooth cardiovascular function. To maximise health benefits and prevent heart attacks, strict portion control over the salt is vital. High sodium directly elevates blood pressure, straining your arteries. Keep the sea salt sprinkle incredibly sparse, or swap it entirely for fresh lemon juice, cracked black pepper, or garlic powder. These alternative seasonings deliver vibrant flavour and cell-protecting antioxidants without compromising your blood pressure or cardiovascular well-being.
